I grew up being encouraged to 'make it yourself', helping my Dad rescue things from skips to be turned into works of art and making my first illustrated book at the age of 5. I have a BA in Illustration (First) from Camberwell College of Art and an MA in Children's Book Illustration (Merit) from Cambridge School of Art.
My first picture book, King Leonard's Teddy, was published by Child's Play and was shortlisted for the Teach Early Years Awards 2019. I'm currently working on a second book with them.
I was shortlisted for The Association Of Illustrator's Prize for Illustration in 2017 and this year have been short-listed for the Association Of Illustrator's 2020 World Illustration Awards.

I teach Illustration and Graphics at Cambridge School of Visual and Performing Arts and when at home, love a good DIY project. I live in London with my partner and son, our cat, and a large collection of spider-plants.
