Hello! I'm an illustrator based in the Artist Hive studios in Tottenham, London.
I love drawing nature, patterns and city life. I'm also a children's author and an Associate Lecturer on the BA in Illustration at the University of Northampton.
I have a BA in Illustration (First) from Camberwell College of Art and an MA in Children's Book Illustration (Merit) from Cambridge School of Art.
My first picture book, King Leonard's Teddy, was published in 2019 by the UK, USA and Australia by Child's Play and has been co-editioned in French, Chinese and Korean. It was shortlisted for the Little Rebels Award 2020, the Cogan Biodiversity Award 2020 and the Teach Early Years Awards 2019. I am currently working on my second book with Child's Play, due to be released in 2021 and supported by a grant from the Society of Authors.
I am also working on a series of illustrated animation loops, funded by the Arts Council Developing your Creative Practice grants.
My London crowd scenes were shortlisted in the Product and Packaging category of the Association of Illustrators World Illustration Awards in 2020. And I was shortlisted for the Association of Illustrators Prize for Illustration in 2017.
I am open to commissions in all areas but particularly interested in working on more editorial projects at the moment!
