"We selected Phoebe for her lovely style and experience. We had a tricky combined mural and animation brief that involved conveying a lot of specific detail and engaging diverse viewers. She achieved all our aims beautifully and contributed massively to the projects by being flexible, organised and dedicated."
Toby, Rock Mill Centre
Illustrated assets forĀ Rock Mill Centre in the Peak District, a community and visitor centre.Ā Interpretation includes an interactive 3D map that highlights the benefits of rewilding, a floor mural of a healthy river and a range of informative panels and flaps.
Each animation gives an overview of the area, covering The Stone Age, The Middle Ages, The Industrial Revolution, Present Day and The Future. Details within them give insights into the time, from Mammoths on the Kinder Plateau to walkers enjoying the scenery.Ā
Our optimistic vision of the future is based on rewilding plans for The Peak District that are underway. It was developed in consultation with Derbyshire Wildlife Trust.
Additional panels and activities include: Stories (a panel of research that adds context to the animations), Actions (that visitors can do to help nature, including a touch screen for more info); Maps (for kids to colour their visions of the future) and more.
